<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><!DOCTYPE article  PUBLIC '-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.4//EN'  'http://www.docbook.org/xml/4.4/docbookx.dtd'><article><articleinfo><title>HelpOnSuperUser</title></articleinfo><section><title>SuperUser</title><para>A <emphasis role="strong">SuperUser</emphasis> is a user with the permission to do wiki-wide operations like: </para><itemizedlist><listitem><para>Use despam action to mass revert edits of some user (see <ulink url="http://enec.org.br/HelpOnSuperUser/HelpOnSpam#">HelpOnSpam</ulink>). </para></listitem><listitem><para>Use the SystemAdmin macro (see <ulink url="http://enec.org.br/HelpOnSuperUser/HelpOnMacros#">HelpOnMacros</ulink>). </para></listitem><listitem><para>Use SystemInfo macro (see <ulink url="http://enec.org.br/HelpOnSuperUser/HelpOnMacros#">HelpOnMacros</ulink>), showing more details than for a non-priviledged user. </para></listitem><listitem><para>Use WikiConfig macro (see <ulink url="http://enec.org.br/HelpOnSuperUser/HelpOnMacros#">HelpOnMacros</ulink>), showing configuration details of the wiki. </para></listitem><listitem><para>Make full backups. </para></listitem><listitem><para>Install software, install packages (see <ulink url="http://enec.org.br/HelpOnSuperUser/HelpOnPackageInstaller#">HelpOnPackageInstaller</ulink>). </para></listitem><listitem><para>Install language packages via <ulink url="http://enec.org.br/HelpOnSuperUser/LanguageSetup#">LanguageSetup</ulink>. </para></listitem><listitem><para>In their settings screen, they have a list of other users they can temporarily &quot;become&quot; in order to e.g. help those users or even disable their account. The &quot;admin&quot; ACL right just means to be able to set/change/remove ACLs on some or all pages, while being superuser means to be able to do the above mentioned stuff - globally. </para><para>The people being superuser need to be much more trusted (than people with &quot;admin&quot; ACL right) due to this - usually the ones who install the wiki put themselves into the <code>superuser</code> list in the wiki config (see <ulink url="http://enec.org.br/HelpOnSuperUser/HelpOnConfiguration#">HelpOnConfiguration</ulink>). </para></section></article>
